Kathryn "Diane" Domagala March 6, 1947 -- Feb. 18, 2016 Diane died a young 68 years old surrounded by her loved ones in her Placerville, Calif., home where she lived for 30 years. She was the sixth child born of nine children in Chicago, Ill. She moved to California in the early 1970s with an open heart to follow her dreams and raise her children. Diane's family was her everything. She believed in family unity and took pride in passing on her valued traditions to her children. She shared all her love, support and strength with them and taught them what a best friend is. She enjoyed teaching, playing and laughing with her grandchildren as she watched them grow. She loved to travel, sight-see and explore and learn about the world around her. She had a beautiful, adventurous spirit that took her on many spontaneous road trips across the country. She had a passion to dance and loved to move. She had a huge heart and gave her time to those in need by volunteering at the Saint Patrick's Aid Ministry Clothing Closet for more than 20 years. Diane's favorite pass-times were gardening, thrift storing, reading, cooking, drinking coffee and listening to Elvis Presley. She is survived by her five children, Sharon, Dawn, Frank, Barbara and Erick; her nine grandchildren, Shyla, Breanna, Connor, Kaelan, Frankie, Bali, Trevor, Trinity and Tayler; and her great-grandchild, Adam. A celebration of life in remembrance of Diane will be held at a later date. Please contact 530-417-3470 for details.
